The Commonwealth of Virginia WIC Program is considering providing clients with an eWIC card to use at the grocery store for purchasing WIC items.
If eWIC cards are issued, paper food vouchers would be discontinued but your food benefits would remain the same. You would be issued a card, similar to a Food Stamp or debit card, that you would use at a WIC authorized store to purchase WIC food items. You would be able to purchase some or all of your items during your visit. If you purchase some of the items, you may purchase the rest of the items at any WIC authorized store. However, you must still purchase the items during the correct time period.
This survey is being conducted to help the WIC program understand your experience with paper food vouchers and your thoughts about changing to eWIC cards.
This survey does not require you to provide any identifying information.
Thank you for taking this survey.
